Edward Island gets its namesake from the member
of the British royal family, and father to Queen
Victoria. Often referred to as "Garden of the
Gulf" for its agricultural lands and pastoral
scenery, which adds to its longstanding
reputation as a land of natural beauty. With its
rolling hills, red soil and ocean coves, flying
around this hidden gem is truly a treat for any
pilots willing to give it a chance. If you
happen to take advantage of what is awarded to
aviators here, be sure to experience sand dunes
at Greenwich and the white silica sand at Basil
Head. It is safe for us to say that being in the
skies is one great thing about this province.
If you happen to be of a leisurely nature as
well, this area is second to none. Beaches, golf
courses and simplistic countryside living is
what is in store for you as you search for real
estate in this region. If this sounds appealing,
check out the area as one of your first
priorities in house-hunting. Nothing fancy...
just good clean living.
